(Late) Shri Vinay Kanth laid the foundation of East & West High School, a premier CBSE affiliated institution, and with his Blessings the school was founded in the 1979 by a handful of academicians in concort with person concerned about the education of the very young.The School became subsequently the nucleus of the EWHS society in 1987.Later on this school shifted from Patna to its new abode at village Bela in december 2000.soon in the year 2001 ,the School was granted affiliation by the C.B.S.E New Delhi.It took no time for the school to become a hub for a range in the activities in area including the Prativesh Maitree Programme,With the beginning of the current session ,Bifurcating the existing school a primary school has been launched which is intended to be more community-oriented and function in the spirit of Right to Education(RTE) enshrined in the new legislation on the subject.

An eminent educationist,Prof.Vinay Kanth made immense contribution in the field of education . After Shri Vinay K.Kantha , his Nephew Mr Pratyush kanth has pursued the mission, he is an exemplary role model for us and for all who aspire to achieve the impossible and strive to transform their dreams into reality.
