78TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at East & West High School .The school decorated with tricolor saffron, white and green balloons and flags welcomed the eyes of all to the function.
The ceremony started at 9:00 AM in the school open ground with large crowd of staff,students and parents.
To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation,
Special Chief Guest Hon'ble Justice Mr Mihir Kumar Jha,Dr.Mrs.Vani Jha and Our Hon'ble Director Madam Shipi Shah unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
The students of Choir group of Std.8th-10th in their melodious voices sang the Patriotic song- that awakened everyone’s feelings towards the Mother Land.
Taking the slogan of ‘Unity in Diversity’ forward, the student choir from Std. 5th-8th presented the patriotic song based on Glimpses of India.
The program culminated with Vote of Thanks. At the end sweets were distributed to the students. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
